Lauren StowerLauren Stower had a plethora of jobs after UCSC: Case Manager for HIV-positive parolees at San Quentin Prison, Flower shop manager, Marketing mind supporting the birth of eBay's first Green/Fair Trade online marketplace with non-profit org. "World of Good," and substitute teaching in Hayward, CA. She received her MAT (Masters in Urban Education and Social Justice) and Secondary CA Teaching Credential from the University of San Francisco in 2010 with BCLAD. Having taught at Berkeley High, she is currently a Spanish bilingual High School educator at Tennyson High, Hayward, teaching English in CPA academy, "CMMA" (Community Multimedia Academy).

Lauren was recently awarded the 2012 "Thank a Teacher for Social Justice Award" by T4SJ (Teachers 4 Social Justice organization) in SF. She looks to expand her career in education to juvenile and immigration detention centers, and is open to new career paths and other radical, feminist ventures! Contact: laurenstower@gmail.com.
