KC Bly

Class of 2003

KC Bly is a Certified Nurse Midwife at Hartford Hospital in Hartford, CT. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Women's Studies and Latin American & Latino Studies from University of California Santa Cruz in 2003 and his Master's in Nursing from University of California San Francisco in 2010. As a nurse, KC spent 5 years with Planned Parenthood and worked with underserved populations in San Francisco, Mexico, and Guatemala; as a Nurse Midwife he participated in Maternal-Child Health research projects in Guatemala and Indonesia before relocating to Hartford last summer for a full-scope clinical position. KC also serves as co-chair of the American College of Nurse Midwives' Ethics Committee's Gender Bias Task Force.
