Amy Bailey

Class of 1997

Amy BaileyI have been an Assistant Professor of Sociology at Utah State University since Fall 2010.  My research focuses on issues of race and inequality.  I currently teach courses at the undergraduate and graduate level on social inequality, and enjoy bringing a feminist perspective to my students (from the most heavily red state in the country).  Outside of work, I am Vice President and a founding member of PFLAG Logan/Cache Valley, which is the 5th PFLAG chapter in Utah, and spend weekends on the slopes.

I most identify with the class of 1993; graduated in 1997.
